Loras College Athletics

Brian Kult shined as a two-sport athlete in both track and field and football. A three-time All-American, Kult also was a five-time Iowa Conference Champion and the 1990 IIAC Men's Track and Field MVP. On the gridiron, Kult collected 417 tackles (190 solo), 13 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks and four interceptions, earning All-American honors in the process. Kult ranks second all-time in tackles and helped the track and field program to a fourth and fifth place finish, both of which are program bests.
