Homan, a native of Coldwater, Ohio is now in her second year with the Duhawks from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where she recently earned her master's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a specialization in Athletic Training. She is also a 2008 graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.

With the Cardinals, Homan played basketball threw the shot put and discus for their track and field team. While working on her master's at the University North Carolina, she worked with the women's basketball and rowing teams.

She's also spent time with numerous summer camps and interned with Disney's Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Florida in 2009.

Homan works primarily with the cross country and volleyball teams in the fall, the wrestling team in the winter, and the track and field teams in the spring.
