Jake Hesse - Head Athletic Trainer (ATC, LAT, CSCS)

Jake Hesse is in his third year with the Duhawks in 2009-10. Hesse came to Loras College at the beginning of the 2007-2008 year from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. At U.N.I. Hesse was a graduate assistant and Head Athletic Trainer for the baseball team while working on his master's degree in athletic training. Prior to his time in Cedar Falls, Hesse worked as a full time assistant at William Penn University for two years where he covered many of the Statesmen's and women's sports.

He earned his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Wartburg College in 2002. After graduation, Hesse came to Dubuque for the Loras College All-Sports Camp where he had his first employment with the college and was introduced to the campus, the staff and the Dubuque area. He is a regular participant in outdoor activities during his free time and resides in Epworth, Iowa with his wife, Melissa.
