  • Lillis is not only one of the key players in turning the Loras College basketball program into a winning one, but is also a person who uses his winning attitude and determination in applying it to his community.

  • A member of the Loras College basketball team until he graduated in 1971 with a degree in Biology. He is a member of the 1,000- point club, and is still one of Loras' all-time rebound leaders. Known as an excellent perimeter shooter and a great team player, as well as student heading off for medical school, Lillis earned a post-graduate scholarship from the NCAA based on his academic and athletic achievements.

  • Took his skill on to medical school where he graduated from the University of Iowa. He has become one of the country's leaders in liposuction using local anesthetic. He is the editor of two medical textbooks, numerous book chapters and is a guest lecturer at over 100 national and international medical meetings.

  • Contributed his heart and knowledge to his community by adopting an inner city school class through the "I Have a Dream Foundation" by donating $500,000 to sponsor 40 children for their grade school, junior high, high school and post high school education.
