Track and Field

Home to the Loras College football, soccer, lacrosse and track and field teams, Bob Bierie Field, or most often referred to as the Rock Bowl, was built in 1940 and renovated in 2005. This high quality artificial turf field experiences its busiest time during home events and practices in the fall season. The Rock Bowl is surrounded by a purple competitive running track and regularly used for track and field and other various events during the spring. It has a 3,500 fan capacity with additional seating in the surrounding grassy area. A press box, hospitality suite, and other work spaces overlook the area for live broadcasts and control of the jumbo screen and scoreboard.
