ATHLETIC TRAINING AT LORAS COLLEGE

The Loras College Athletic Trainers are an integral part of Duhawk Athletics. The athletic trainers work to prevent, treat, rehabilitate those who are injured, and strive to provide the teams with safe and healthy student-athletes who can compete within the philosophy of Loras College, the Iowa Conference, and the NCAA. Each practice and home athletic event has a Certified Athletic Trainer who is responsible for any medical issues which may arise.
Joining the certified staff is a varying number of students who earn experience and credit hours while helping to execute the daily duties of the athletic trainer athletic training students. These students combine their field work with academics while pursuing their degree in the nationally accredited athletic training education program.
