Digger enters his second year as the head coach of the men's tennis team for the Duhawks during the 2011-12 season. Kurt earned his bachelor's degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from Loras College in 2009. Kurt was a four year member of the tennis team at Loras College from 2006-09 and is looking to take the program to new heights.

After graduating in 2009 from Loras, he worked at East Dubuque Savings Bank in Dubuque as a I.T. Operations Specialist for two years. Then in August of 2011 he was hired on full time at Loras College as the Microcomputer specialist, while maintaining his title as the Head Men's Coach.

Kurt resides in Dubuque.
