Teresa Kehe, who has been the Head Coach at Tripoli High School in Tripoli, Iowa since 1983, completed her third year at Loras College in the fall of 2008.

Kehe's overall record in three seasons at the helm is 65-41. She is 8-0 in the IIAC. Loras appeared in the IIAC Tournament in 2006 and won the Monmouth Invitational to start the 2007 season.

"In the two seasons I've been here at Loras College, we have made significant progress in the development of our overall volleyball program" Kehe said following the 2007 season. "By building our team chemistry, improving our work ethic, and encouraging a positive, energetic environment, our players have become more committed to further developing their volleyball skills while striving for excellence both on the court and in the classroom."

While at Tripoli, Kehe built a program from the ground up as the school's first ever coach. In 2005 Tripoli won their third straight Iowa Class 1A state championship. Kehe led Tripoli to the state championship match in eight consecutive seasons, winning six titles.

In addition to the state championships, Kehe won 579 matches, 14 conference titles, 14 District Championships, and eight regional championships at the high school level. She was named the State of Iowa Class 1A Coach of the Year six times and the Northeast Iowa District Class 1A Coach of the Year seven times. In 2003, Kehe was the State of Iowa National Coach of the Year Nominee and was selected by the National High School Coaches Association as a finalist for the National Coach of the Year.

Kehe graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1981 with a physical education degree.

Regarding the volleyball program, Jeff adds, "Loras volleyball is definitely on the rise. We've seen each of our players increase their skill level and, more importantly, their focus and desire. We strive to make a positive impact on each player's college experience and create a terrific team atmosphere. I expect the progress we have made in the past two years to continue because of our attempt to provide each player the opportunity to rise to the level they choose to work towards and achieve."
