For the last three seasons, Katie Langmeier and Caitlin Groeper have developed into high jumping forces to be reckoned with at the conference and regional level. On Friday, the pair made their run at the All-American stand together.

Just a week earlier, the duo tied the school record at a last chance meet by each leaping 5-6.5 (1.69M).

At Lacrosse, Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse, they weren't able to climb as high, but no doubt enjoyed wrapping their 2013 season at nationals.

Groeper cleared 5-3 (1.60) as she has in the past, but wasn't able to make 5-4.5 (1.64). Her effort put her at t-17th in the 22-jumper field.

Langmeier's fate was different, as she made the trip knowing she would need to overcome a midweek practice injury. In the end, each of her first three jumps - including two which began from the opposite side of the bar – were unsuccessful.

The meet wraps up Groeper's career, and she leaves with that school record from a week ago. Langmeier has her senior season ahead of her to try and break the tie with Caitlin and reach the All-American stand.
