Duhawk Lacrosse traveled to Carthage College and Aurora University over the weekend. Unfortunately, the Duhawks got off to a slow start in Saturday's game verse Carthage (75-5). The Duhawks suffered a 19 to 0 loss, recording two shots on net. Sam Schmidt recorded eight saves as the Duhawks slowed Carthage to a six goal second half.


With a short turnaround, the Duhawks faced the Spartans of Aurora University on Sunday. Again, the Duhawks got off to a slow first half going into the half down 12 to 0. After halftime adjustments, Kaitlyn Kutsch recorded two goals on five shots. Sam Schmidt held her ground giving up only six goals in the second half and recording eight saves in the game.


Duhawk Lacrosse looks to get their second win on the season verse cross-town neighbor the University of Dubuque on Wednesday, April 17th at 7:00 p.m. On April 5, the Duhawks beat Dubuque 10 to 7.
