Concordia Univ.- Wisconsin, 18

Loras, 2

Just two days after the lacrosse team's first win in school history the Duhawks took on Concordia University-Wisconsin at the Rock Bowl on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons of Concordia are in their third season as a team.  This extra in-game experience may have provided an edge in the final score.

Concordia started the game out strong by taking an early lead and went to halftime with a 13-0 advantage. Unfortunately, the Duhawks could not gain much momentum as they lost 18-2. The Duhawks appear to be improving on little things during the second half, which was just 5-2 in favor of the Falcons.

Ellen Penticoff (above) scored the Duhawks two goals. Goaltender Sam Schmidt recorded 13 saves.

Loras will continue their season April 13 at Carthage College at 12:00 p.m. as the Duhawks look to get back on track. They'll return to the Rock Bowl on April 17 when they host University of Dubuque.
