
Trailing 26-17 with eight minutes left in the first half, the Duhawks went on a 19-0 run over the next five minutes to take a 36-26 lead. Eight different players had scored at least four points by halftime, when the Duhawks went to the locker room with a 12 point lead.
Loras controlled the majority of the second half and never relinquished the lead. Lindsay Bava scored a team high 16 points for Loras. Melissa Herrmann added 10 points and five rebounds and Brit Kent came off the bench to score 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting. Kent made her only three pointer of the game and each of her two free throws and added three rebounds, a block, and a steal to her line.
