The Loras wrestling team took the long trek to Storm Lake, Iowa on Wednesday for their second Iowa Conference dual of 2012-13 and came away victorious.
Loras again forfeited at 125, but the Beavers also left three weight classes, 165-184, open. That put the score at 18-6 in favor of the Duhawks before anyone took the mat.
The Beavers would score their points at 141- and 157-pounds with a pair of decisions.
Loras again got a win early from Nick Steger at 133-pounds when he shut out his opponent, 6-0.
Greg Vance then added a win at 149-pounds, scoring 17 points in a major win.
Malcolm Watson added a win at 197-pounds, a convincing 8-2 decision.
Finally, #5-ranked James Buss added another pin to his first season record, taking 2:14 to finish his opponent.
Loras is at the Matmen Invitational at Cornell this weekend, where many of the Duhawks listed above will be held out ahead of next week's home dual with Wartburg at 7:00 PM Tuesday night in the AWC.
