The Loras College men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to San Jose Pool this weekend with a pair of duals. Simpson College will be on campus on Friday and Grinnell brings their squads in on Saturday.

So far in the young 2012-13 season, the Duhawks have defeated Coe and each team placed in the top three at the Monmouth Invitational.

"I'm very excited for this season," head coach Doug Colin said during the preseason.

"We really got after some early practices."

Coach Colin, in his 15th season, admits he's lost some names from the 2011-12 roster and as a result, some of his speed.

"We might not have the same top end speed with did last year, but I think we're going to have some real battles for spots on relays," he said.

He will look to some youth on the roster this year as the season gets rolling to compliment the returners.
