The Loras College volleyball team moved to 3-2 in the Iowa Conference after Wednesday night's win over Simpson College in Indianola. The Duhawks hit at an impressive .280 clip on Wednesday, well ahead of the Storm's .144 en route to the win. They committed just 11 errors in the 3-set match.

Individually, no player reached double digits in kills, but Kenzie Goedken, Regan Riley, and Kara Grant each had at least eight. Kirsten Schultz had six and Cassie Crabill added five. Shawn Rielly was on target with 31 assists and chipped in with four kills of her own. She was also second on the team with 11 digs. Christa Winders led that category with 12.

Defensively, Loras was exceptional at the net, logging eight full blocks. Schultz and Grant were a part of most of them, with Riley, Crabill, and Goedken contributing to two each.

Simpson's Tabitha Blaser led all players with 14 kills. No one else on the Storm had more than five.

Two more IIAC games remain on the schedule for the third place Duhawks. Next Tuesday, Buena Vista comes to the AWC for Think Pink Night. On October 23rd, Loras will be in Pella to finish their IIAC slate against Central.

Senior Night will be October 26 when the Duhawks host Clarke.
