Loras College junior Kellie Wagner led the Duhawk women's cross country team to the finish line on Saturday at the Pre-Nationals event in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Wagner was the lone Duhawk in under the 24-minute mark in the deep field at Rose-Hulman. Wagner needed 23:51 to complete the course.

In a 40-second stretch from 24:55  to 25:35 mark, each of the remaining top seven finished the course.

Nora Gawlik broke the 25-minute mark in 24:55.

Then Katie Flogel (25:06), Bridget Hall (25:18), Melissa Kroll (25:29), Hallie Martin (25:34), and Kayla Barnes (25:35) followed.

"Kellie had a great race, maybe her best ever as a Duhawk," head coach Bob Schultz said after the race. "I was also proud of how well our freshman raced on this stage."

Next up for the Duhawks is their home event, the Dr. Tucker Invitational, on October 12 at 4:30 PM at the Dubuque Soccer Complex.
