Allowing a goal in the 1st minute of any soccer match is never ideal, and many times can be the pin that deflates all the momentum. But most importantly, it can serve as a soul searching opportunity. When a team falls behind that early, it provides a chance for them to come back and prove themselves, and that's exactly what the Duhawks did Saturday in Decorah.

In the 14th minute, freshman Ailish Rispin added her second goal of the year to tie the match up, only to have senior Kinsey Campbell score in the 30th to take the lead for Loras. Then for good measure, junior Lynn DeVriese added a tally of her own in the 83rd to cap the scoring for the night.

The win gets Loras back on their feet after suffering a crushing defeat at the hands of the Wheaton Thunder earlier in the week. Loras now stands at 8-4 on the year and 2-0 in IIAC play.

They will play host to the Central College Dutch on Saturday in the Rock Bowl before traveling to Wheaton, Ill. to take on #2 Trinity (TX) on Sunday.
