Last week, Loras College (now) junior Kathryn Belanger was named to the 2011-12 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Team. 

The St. Charles, Illinois native has been a mainstay in the Duhawks' lineup over her first two seasons. She posted two top ten finishes during the 2011-12 seasons and performed her best at the two tournaments Loras College hosts. She also posted two rounds in the 80's in the opening rounds of the 2011 IIAC Championship.

Belanger is a SportsManagement major at Loras College. In order to qualify for the team, a golfer must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater. She was one of just five Iowa Conference golfers to make the 2011-12 list.
