The men hosted Ripon College and Wheaton College this Saturday. The Duhawks started out very strong against Ripon College by winning all the matches, posting a final score of 9-0.
In the singles competition, senior Justin Steines defeated Ryan Slowinski 6-0 and 6-2. Senior John Kean defeated Alex Tande 6-0, 5-7, and 10-2.
In the second meet against Wheaton College, Loras struggled against a very good Wheaton team. The Duhawks fell the Thunder, 9-0. The team of Brian Falvey and Jon Moore put up a strong fight before losing to Tyler Johnson and Josh Ward 9-8 (7-3 tiebreaker).
In the singles competition, Justin Gonner battled with Miles Greenwald but lost with scores of 6-3 and 6-3.
