The Loras College women's golf team was runner-up at Sunday's Loras Spring Invitational at Thunder Hills Country Club.
The Duhawks placed three golfers in the top ten among the 32-golfer field.
Abby Potts shot an 88 to lead the Duhawks and was followed closely by Christina Jackson's 90. Shayna Siegert added a 93. Potts finished tied for third, Jackson was alone in sixth, and Siegert was tied for ninth.
Loras' other three participants were Lauren Gonner, Kathryn Belanger, and Megan Gregg. Gonner finished with a 96, Belanger a 97, and Gregg a 98.
The individual title went to Brittany Carr, who tied teammate Megan Vandersee with an 86. Carr won the card back from #18 tiebreaker. The Vikings were 12 shots better than the Duhawks for the team title.
