LaBadie and Herrmann make All-IIAC WBB list

A pair of Duhawks found themselves on the 2011-12 All-Iowa Conference women's basketball team on Wednesday. Senior Lindsey LaBadie and junior Melissa Herrmann made the cut this season.

 

LaBadie, the lone senior on this year's roster, led the team in the in scoring at 10.2 points per game. She ranked in the top 20 in the IIAC in scoring and rebounding this year and also led the league in assists with 3.81 per game (99). She was also seventh in the IIAC in steals. This appearance on the first team is her second consecutive time on the slot.

 

Herrmann ranked 25thin the Iowa Conference in scoring, 14thin rebounding, and led the Iowa Conference in blocks with 73 (2.81 per game). Herrmann played well at the end of the 2011-12 season and scored a season high 16 points and pulled down a career high 17 rebounds in the Duhawks' Iowa Conference Tournament loss at Wartburg.

 

Loras finished 2011-12 at 14-12 overall, 9-7 in the Iowa Conference.
