Sun, Jan 22, 2012 - [Men's Indoor Track & Field]
Loras College's Distance Medley team of Austin Steil, Kyle Schaffer, Dan McDermott and Chris Miller took home the Duhawks' only title of the day at the Monmouth College Midwest Invite on Saturday by outrunning teams from Knox and Augustana. The team needed 10:51.95 to claim first place.
Other top three finishes came from five spots.
Tim Derr was runner-up in the 60 Meter Hurdles. Derr's time was 8.68.
The 4x200 and 4x400 teams each finished in third place.
Individually, Ryan Seymour was third in the 60 Meter Dash (7.20) and Sean Campbell was also third in the weight throw (49'-4.25").
Upon their return from California, the next competition is the North Central Invite on January 28th in Naperville, Illinois.
