Knights' Reiter leads Wartburg past Loras

The Loras College women's basketball team was outshot on their own floor to the tune of 60% field goal shooting and 77% long distance shooting by the Wartburg College Knights on Saturday afternoon.


Stephanie Reiter paced the Wartburg offense with 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 4-of-4 from long distance. She was joined in double figures by three teammates, including Terri Dirks' 17 points and Leslie Wilson's 16.


For Loras, Kelly Rogowski scored a team high 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting and 3-of-4 long distance efforts. Katie Langmeier was 4-of-4 from the field and finished with 13 points. Brit Kent finished with seven points and seven rebounds. Lindsey LaBadie was held scoreless, going 0-for-7 from the field.


Wartburg led wire-to-wire and took a 15 point lead into halftime after making 16 first half shots, including 6-of-7 3-pointers.
