The Loras College men's cross country team hosted their annual meet on Friday afternoon at the Dubuque Soccer Complex. With the top runners in the program held out for Saturday's Pre-National meet in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the team turned to the remainder of the roster for a strong finish.

Additionally, there were five loyal Duhawk alums that formed a team for the event. Leading that march of former Duhawks was Chad Leitzen who finished in 28:19. Dain Leytem was only a few strides behind in 28:38. Ryan Engelman (28th), Tom Henders (31st), and Scott Schemmel (33rd) rounded out that grouping.
