The Loras College women's soccer team picked up their second conference win of the season against the Dutch of Central College on Saturday, 6-0. Loras outshot Central 37 to 1 and five Duhawks tallied goals for the team.

After 31 minutes of testing the Dutch keeper, senior Holly Wilson finally put a goal in the back of the net for a 1-0 lead at halftime. Nearly three minutes into the second half, sophomore Kate Young added the second goal of the afternoon and the rest, as they say, was history. Sophomore Jessica Kern sent Young up the field for her second goal in the 56th minute, the team's third. Goals after that came from freshman Becky Suckow, freshman Hillary Wilson, and sophomore Natalie Schlader.

The Dutch had a more defensive story to tell on the ride back to Pella, Iowa. Goalkeeper Shelby Austin made 14 saves, but the team was only able to record one shot as they spent most of the 90 minutes trying to stop the Duhawks' hungry offense.

The Duhawks will take on the Luther College Norse this Wednesday at 5:30pm in Decorah, Iowa for another Iowa Conference match.
