The Loras College men's track and field team competed in the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday and came away with strong individual performances along with a top three finish in the 4x400 meter relay.

Junior Mike Roth continued to show his ability in the long jump, finishing fourth in the event with a leap of 6.84 meters, improving upon his 6.83 meter jump the weekend before that put him eighth all-time in the Loras record book. Freshman Brett Epping took fourth place in the triple jump with a leap of 12.82 meters.

Dubuque native Ryan Seymour earned a fifth place finish in the 100 meter dash with his 10.89 second sprint. Senior Sean Campbell's 45.37 meter hurl in the javelin throw placed in fifth in the meet.

The Duhawks 4x400 meter relay team brought home third place in that event with their 3:20.15 finish.

Loras will travel to Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois for the Meet of Champions on April 16 before hosting the Loras Mid-Week meet on April 20.
