The Loras College men's indoor track and field team competed in the Iowa Conference meet on Friday and Saturday at Central College in Pella, Iowa and concluded with a strong fourth place finish, highlighted by a first place finish in the 4x200 Meter Relay.

The 1:31.88 performance by Ryan Seymour, Sean Lewis, John Kawka, and Austin Arthofer in the 4x200 earned the Duhawks a conference champion in the relay. Other all-conference finishes were recorded by Josh Goerdt, who came in second in the 400 Meter Dash, and Tim Derr with his own second place finish in the 55 Meter Hurdles. Rounding out the all-conference performances was the Duhawks 4x400 Meter Relay Team, of Seymour, Goerdt, Lewis, and Kawka. Their time of 3:29.95 was good for third place in the Iowa Conference.

The Duhawks travel to Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Friday and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday for a couple "last chance" meets as the men will look to wrap up their indoor season with a few NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship qualifiers.
