Loras Women's Golf 1st of 4
The Loras College Duhawks won their Fall Invitational on Friday at Lacoma Golf Course in East Dubuque, Illinois. The small tournament yielded four teams this year, including Iowa Conference members Coe and University of Dubuque.
Abby Potts, a freshman from Dubuque, Iowa shot the low score of the day- 85- en route to her first individual title as a Duhawk. Potts was two strokes better than Caitlin Johnson of Coe.
Brittany Boffelli, Jordan Bickford, Elizabeth McCann, Stephanie Miller, Nicole Jess, and Kristine Mason each finished in the top ten.
Loras continues their weekend at the Illinois Wesleyan University Tournament in Bloomington, Illinois. Loras finished in 22nd place at the highly competitive tournament a year ago.
