Loras College Associate Director of Athletics and Senior Women's Administrator Denise Udelhofen begins her first full term (three years) as a member of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships in 2010-11.

After serving two years on the national committee from 2008-10, Udelhofen will serve as the chair of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships Committee for the first two years of her term.

"As the former golf coach at Loras and someone who continues to play, it is a great way to stay connected to the game in my current position," Udelhofen said late this summer.

Udelhofen is a three-time Iowa Conference Golf Coach of the Year (2005-Men, 2005 & 2007-Women) and also spent time as the head coach of the Duhawks' volleyball and softball programs. She is also the moderator of Loras' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). 

"The NCAA Championships is a special event for the top golfers in Division III and my goal is to make the experience positive and memorable for the golfers, coaches, and fans," Udelhofen added.

The 2010-11 Championships will be held in mid-May at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina.
