Loras College outfielder Calvin Rea earned a spot on the 2010 ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region team after his first season in a Duhawk uniform. The Cascade, Iowa native led Loras in a number of offensive categories from his left field position.

Rea appeared in all 39 games Loras played in 2010, hitting a team-high .398 (51 hits). Rea also led the Duhawks in RBI (43), on base percentage (.490), slugging percentage (.719), total bases (92), doubles (17), and home runs (8). At the IIAC level, Rea was in the top ten in average, slugging, on base percentage, doubles, homers, and RBI.

"Calvin provided our offense with a lot this season," head coach Carl Tebon said. "He's got a lot to be proud of after one season in a Loras uniform and I'm happy for him being named to this regional team."

Loras went 15-24 in 2010 and 9-15 in the Iowa Conference.
