The Loras College women's track and field team finished fifth in the ten-team field at the Augustana College Invitational on Saturday.

Barb Kremer holds the eighth best time in the country in the 100 Meter Hurdles after running a 14.59 and winning the event on Saturday. Mary Bridget Corken set the 1500 Meter school record with her runner-up 4:32.42. That time puts Corken at fifth on the NCAA Division III list so far in 2010.

The 800 Meter Run produces two different qualifiers. Laura Rieger took nearly 3.5 seconds off her seed time to win the race and set the Loras record in the event. Rieger's 2:12.65 put her third on the national list and erased the oldest record in the Loras College women's book. Hannah Weiss followed Rieger to the line with the 8^th best time in the country, 2:13.53.

Danielle McNally once again headlines the Duhawks efforts in the field events. Her 142'-4" in the discus is the sixth best in the country and her best effort this season. That distance was good for third on Saturday.

Loras will host the Loras Open on Saturday and begin during the morning at Manatt Track.
