That time is a NCAA "B" qualifier for Lehenbauer, who won the race by two seconds over IIAC foe, Luther's Addison Choi. Lauren held the previous record in the event as well. It his the third individual record she's set this season.
The women's 200 yard freestyle relay of Lauren Lehenbauer, Jennifer Parker, Alex Proctor, and Michelle Goebel also broke the school record in a time of 1:41.40.
Earlier today in the preliminaries, Alex Proctor claimed Lauren Lehenbauer's three week old record in the 100 yard butterfly. Proctor posted a 1:01.56, besting Lehenbauer by less than a second to claim the mark.
The meet continues tonight and tomorrow at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
