All 7s - Duhawks each earn All American status with seventh place finishes

The Loras College women's track and field team sent three runners to the finals at the 2010 Division III Indoor Championships at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The trio of Mary Bridget Corken, Barb Kremer and Hannah Weiss proved to be some of the nation's top runners as each crossed their respective finish line in 7th place.

Corken, who was seeded 12th prior to the race, jumped up five spots in the finals with by posting a 5:03.91 mile run time. Kremer, who was also expected to finish further back in the pack, edged forward two places in the 55 meter hurdles with an 8.37 time in the finals. Weiss ran a personal best of 2:13.81 in the 800 meter run and finished in the same spot as she was ranked in the preliminaries.

The three Duhawks concluded their weekends on the All American stand and will join the rest of the team on March 27 in Memphis, Tennessee to kick off the outdoor season at the Rhodes Invitational meet.
