The Loras College men's and women's cross country teams were recently named as one of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) All Academic teams.

To qualify, racers must post a team score at their NCAA Regional meet and carry a team GPA of at least 3.1.

This year, the men's team had 3.11 team GPA. Ryan Engelman, Dan McDermott, and Dan Murphy were each on the Iowa Conference All Academic Team this fall.

The women's team checked in with a 3.41 GPA. Tara Kilburg, Ashley Reimer, Erinn Sanstead, and Heather Heffernen were each on the Iowa Conference All Academic Team.

The Duhawk men and women finished 14^th at the NCAA Central Regional in 2009.
