The Loras College women's basketball team learned Wednesday that seniors Lindsay Bava and Lisa Morrissey were once again selected to the All-Iowa Conference teams.

Bava makes her third consecutive appearance on the first team to close her career. The Downers Grove, Illinois native was fourth in the IIAC in scoring this season at 15.5 points per game and leaves the program in the fourth spot on the all time scoring list (1,482). She is far and away the program's best free throw shooter in terms of both percentage and total shots made. She's also on the top ten list in three point shooting.

Morrissey, a native of Urbandale, Iowa, was once again among the best in the league this season in assists (3^rd), free throw shooting (4^th), steals (4^th), and assist-to-turnover ratio (3^rd). She was also second in the league in minutes per game, averaging just over 30. She also leaves among the program's best free throw shooters, and is second all time on the Duhawks' assists (397) and steals (209). Morrissey was a second team pick last year as well.
