RESULTS

 

Maggie Saenz Ruiz and Mary Rector wrapped up the 2013 Loras College women's cross country season at the NCAA Division III Championship by placing 100th and 120th in the 280-runner field. The duo qualified at the St. Olaf regional and were in Hanover, Indiana to race against the country's best on Saturday. 

 

Rector, running her final race as a Duhawk, posted a 22:38. That was good for 100th overall.

 

Saenz Ruiz was just seven seconds behind and ran a 22:45. She was 120th.

 

Johns Hopkins won the team title and Chelsea Johnson of St. Scholastica won the individual title on Saturday.

 

The distance runners will now turn their attention to the track for the winter and fall seasons ahead of next fall's season. Rector, Ashley Miller, Bridget Hall, and Kellie Wagner concluded their cross country careers this fall.
