The Green Knights of St. Norbert College handed the Loras College women's basketball team their first loss of the season 60-41, sending them to 2-1 on the season.

After even starts for both teams, the Green Knights took a 12-5 lead with 13:54 left in the first half. A run by the Duhawks brought them within one before St. Norbert closed the half on a 17-6 run to go into halftime leading 31-19.

In the second half, the Duhawks attempted a comeback but their efforts fell short. Loras held a 40-27 rebounding edge in the game but couldn't overcome a season-low shooting performance (27.7%).

St. Norbert was led by Lana Tomashek with 13 points. Morgan Heim added 12 and Brianna Byrne (sister of Loras' Lauren Byrne) had 10.

Katie Langmeier finished a rebound shy of a double-double. Langmeier's 16 points and nine rebounds were team-highs. Katie Wheeler added four points and seven rebounds for the Duhawks.

The Duhawks look to bounce back Saturday when they travel to Wisconsin – Oshkosh before returning home to take on Concordia University (Chicago). The matchup with the Cougars is set for Tuesday, November 26, with tipoff at 6:00 p.m.
