The Loras College men's cross country team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Men's Cross Country Championships on Sunday.  The Duhawks earned a team slot at the national race for the first time since the 2011 season when they finished 25th in the 32-team field.

For the women, senior Mary Rector and freshman Maggie Saenz Ruiz earned individual qualifiers for the national race next weekend.

The races will be held at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana on November 23rd. The women's race will start at 10:00 a.m. followed by the men's race at 11:30 a.m. (central time).

"This is a great day for our program," head coach Bob Schultz said upon learning of the qualifications. "In my nine years at Loras, this is the largest group we've taken to the National Championships."
