Four Duhawks make Capital One CoSida Academic All-District Soccer Teams

Sophomore Sam Koenig and senior Tim van den Bergh earned first team Capital One CoSida Academic All-District Soccer honors for the #10 ranked men. 


Koenig an Accounting and Finance double major.  The Dubuque native, has played in 19 games for the Duhawks this season, starting one. The Loras defenseman also has one goal on the year.


Van den Bergh, a forward for the Duhawks, has also appeared in 19 games, starting in 13. He is tied for second on the team with 6 goals and has also been credited with 3 assists on the year.


Hannah Wilson and Kristina Everding, both juniors, were named to the Capital One CoSida Academic All-District Soccer team for the #25 Loras women.


Wilson, the Duhawks' goalkeeper, is a Criminal Justice major. She has started all 20 games and holds a 16-3-1 record in goal with a save percentage of .734 and a goals against average of 1.00. Wilson has tallied 5 shutouts so far this season.


Everding, of Sumner, Iowa, has a perfect 4.00 GPA while working on a degree in Sports Science. The Duhawk defender/midfielder has played in 20 games, starting in 19, and has 1 goal on the season.
