#25 Loras, 2

Wartburg, 0

The Duhawks will play for their fourth straight Iowa Conference Tournament title on Saturday night. Loras advanced to the title game courtesy of a 2-0 win over the Wartburg Knights on Wednesday in the Rock Bowl.

Loras scored once in each half, and Katie Truesdale played a role in both goals, scoring the first and assisting the second. The Duhawks and Knights traded shots over the first 20 minutes, with Sophia Perez needing to make one save while Loras blocked one of the guest's shots in front of Hannah Wilson. In the 21st minute, Truesdale took a pass from Danielle Vujovic at the penalty spot and quickly turned to her right foot, smashing home the game's opener.

The Duhawks held a 7-5 advantage in shots over the first 45 minutes, and Hannah Wilson made one save to Perez's two.

The Duhawks opened a larger shot spread in the second half, taking 12 to the Knights' four. The biggest of those 12 came in the 79th minute when Truesdale fed a pass to an open Claire Murphy, who tucked home the insurance goal. Murphy's goal was her second of the season. Truesdale's in the first half was her team high 12th and third game-winner of the season.

The Duhawks will play their neighbors and #3 seed from the University of Dubuque (16-4, 5-2) in the championship game. The Spartans went on the road and beat Luther, 1-0, in the other semifinal. The regular season game was played at Oyen Field in rainy conditions. Loras won in overtime on September 28, 3-2. Kickoff in the Rock Bowl on Saturday is 5:00 PM.
