Dickhut named to her second All-IIAC squad

Loras College junior women's tennis player Elizabeth Dickhut was named All-Iowa Conference (singles) for the second straight season late last week by the Iowa Conference. Dickhut went 4-2 in her IIAC matches – all as the Duhawks' top singles player. 

 

This season she was recognized alongside two teammates. Carrie Crabill and Caroline Rainey also caught the attention of the league's voters with and earned Honorable Mentions. They paired for two wins in the league at #2 doubles and combined for four wins in their singles matches.

 

"The Iowa Conference also announced its 2013 All-Conference Women's Tennis Team. Four Coe players were named overall with Lucero, Ferree and Laura Birky being named in both singles and doubles and Amy Sebastian being named in singles. Four Luther players also received recognition – Maggie Helms in both singles and doubles and Adriana DePaolisCaroline Treis and Lola White-Baer in singles. Central's Angie Allgood also received honors in both singles and doubles, while teammate Megan Davis was selected in doubles. Loras' Elizabeth Dickhut and Wartburg's Melissa Davis and Katheryn Ross picked up the final three all-conference spots in singles."
