The Duhawks came out with a vengeance against the Luther College on Saturday night beating the Norse 3-0 on the Rock Bowl in their first home game in over two weeks. The victory sealed the Duhawks' spot atop the Iowa conference standings with five wins and no losses.

The Duhawks outshot the Norse 17-7 to bring home the victory. Madie Avery put home the first goal in the 32nd minute off an assist from Katie Truesdale with a low shot from 25 yards out just out of the reach of Norse keeper, Cydney Haaland.

Despite many chances in the first half, the Duhawks were unable to find the back of the net again until the 51st when Madeline Tennant made her way to the scoreboard after she broke away at the top of the 18 yard line and drove home a shot to side netting. Ailish Rispin scored her sixth goal of the season in the 62nd minute after an impressive passing combination from Danielle Vujovic and Lynn DeVriese. Goalkeeper Hannah Wilson made four saves to preserve the Duhawk shutout.

Loras improved to 13-3-1 overall. The Duhawks will play Coe College on Saturday October 26th at 1:00PM at home for Senior Day.
